January 25 1910

Partly cloudy warm. Wind South.

Frost going out of ground fast.

Took Julia to Henry's line and let he go rest of way.

Hubby tidied the house.

Helped catch 5 chickens for market. Hubby took sack of corn to S. Miller's. She sent candy and bag of clothes back.

Hitched up old Dick and Milly to pull wagon by cellar door where I could put culled potatoes. Worked in them half hour. Went after Julia and did evening chores

To tired to care for anything.

  1. Tough shoot today. Felt tired. I don't know what is wrong with me. Nice people from Hollywood with 2 crazy dogs. The images are great but they had to think about what they want.

We are having trouble with our printing service and it is really putting a cloud over what we do. Very frustrating.

Went out with Teresa, Sandy and Dierdra after work. Had some laughs. Came home around nine. Had a nice time. I hope to see my girlfriends more often. I think being social is good for my spirit.

  2. Still exhausted from sickness.
    Fog lasted til midday.

Had a productive morning, and a productive day.
    Staying ahead of schedule again.

Left Jack at school late, by request. Left the boys to chores and dinner while I went to the Parent Group meeting at school. We ate Indian take out- mmmmmm- and laid lots of plans. It's so nice to be a part of the group and not the person who runs it AND makes everything happen. Refreshing.

Home late from the meet, was and irked Jack was still up and did not get done all he was to do while I was gone. Got snippy about it, which caused a chain reaction over the whole house. Dana and I snapped angrily at each other in his earshot for maybe only the second time in his life- had to go in to his room and have a family smooth out so he wouldn't go to bed distressed. Dana and I started whispering our apologies a bit later in our room, and realized how silly that was. So we spoke our make up at regular volume, as our row had been.... We all agreed we'll need to keep our tempers in check as we move through this burdensome house process!

  3. Better today, except Rhiannon had gotten a blue card at school - the worst one of the bunch. She not only didn't do her work in class but she was very disruptive AND lost her jacket - AGAIN! This was the second time this has happened and we are hoping to find it in the lost and found as we did the last time. She is officially grounded, as grounded as a 6 year old can be. No fun!

Everyone else seems to have calmed down a bit from yesterday, edginess does not suit me well and everyone is worse for the wear when it happens around me. I hope it is because there is tension about something that can be fixed!
